Eighteenth edition of the collection Air Force Series of sixty pages of 195 x 270 mm, 150 grams paper illustration. The color pages (twenty) are printed on illustration paper of 259 grs with bright UV lacquer finish.
The work includes over one hundred and forty pictures in black and white and color, complemented with twenty-seven profiles / plan views especially made for the work. Is highlighted the quality of many of the photographs as well as profiles of a big variety of camouflage used.
The work is divided into several chapters told in a concise manner from the development of a conceptual sailplane to the project FAS1160 currently in execution. Although this work is focused on Argentina’s military aviation, this edition also covers the utilization of aircraft by other users and add extensive information about the large number of failed attempts to export, mainly for political reasons. The existence of a real vocation for exports and more formal management of these businesses, may have changed the history of the Fábrica Militar de Aviones.
The chapters are: History, Operations in the Falklands, Technique, individual stories and exports.
Edition No. 18 introduces a number of changes and improvements in this popular series of monographs on Argentinean military aviation. For the rest of the year, is scheduled to launch four new editions.
